Marianne Nightingale has been in the field of graphic design for many years, working with leading brands and national organisations. Wanting to explore more ways to use her skills for positive change, in 2019 she decided to start her own business, Filthy Soup. Drawing on her love of pop art and using solid block colour, she creates bold artwork to, as she describes, ‘add a little brightness to life.’ It is this idea that underpins all that she does, from encouraging children to enjoy art, to supporting charities. This year she was thrilled to be asked to create the graphic artwork for The Walk of Art theme of ‘Our Horsforth.’
Filthy Soup sell a collection of cards, gifts and tees that pack a punch and raise a smile. Their artwork comes with a good dollop of positive vibes and is now sold in numerous shops throughout West Yorkshire.
