Design a flag for Horsforth!
As part of this year’s Walk of Art we are running a competition to help create a flag for Horsforth!
Entry is free and open to anyone aged 0 to 25 who lives or studies in Horsforth. Designs can be physical (drawings, collages, paintings, prints, etc) or digital, and should reflect the history, cultural diversity and community of our wonderful town. Entries will be grouped into four age brackets: 0-5 years, 6-10, 11-15 16+, and a winner picked from each group. These designs will be incorporated into a combined flag by local artist and maker Jax Temple-Smees ready to be revealed at the Walk of Art in July.
Your design should fit inside a rectangle measuring 22.5cm wide by 13.5cm high or a digital image to the same ratio.. The deadline for entries is Monday 20th April 2026.
