I have been interested in Photography for decades, especially landscape photography. Since retiring from paid work, I have been able to devote more time to this hobby and explored other aspects of landscape photography. I am currently interested in low light level photography and minimalist landscape scenes.
This brings about its own challenges, particularly with the use of a tripod for long exposures, neutral density filters and “painting with torchlight” a dark scene to compose a photograph.
These techniques require a lot of patience and standing around waiting for the right moment/light/clouds to appear.
I am in the process of learning to be patient, there is a long way to go!
