VENUE #33 – VIEW ON MAP >
My name is Sofia Galasso and I am extremely passionate about art. Throughout my life, art has always been something I had a natural gravitation towards. Whether this was through painting, drawing, tattoos, piano, fashion, sculptures or even architecture, it has ignited my curiosity over the years.
I have been selling my work as a pastime, but I am switching my degree to Fine Art in September to pursue my passion. Currently, my main mediums are gauche paint on paper as I enjoy the vibrant pigment and clay for sculpting.
My inspirations for the work within the exhibition are primarily based on personal emotions. At times, it felt like creating something was the best way to express feelings and show love for the people around me. It will also include some realism as this has been something I have been practising recently.
