Jemima is a local artist working in oil, acrylic and sometimes spray. Some of her paintings sit quietly in a miniature frame, while some loudly occupy the space of an entire wall. Her work often features portraits and figures doing mundane things , with the hope of creating some kind of connection and relatability with those who see her work, by showing that even the simplest of things in life can be interesting, like the folds of a hoodie sleeve or a drainpipe.
