DAYS: Saturday
VENUE Blue Route 4
Helen is a self-taught local artist specialising in acrylic painting, with a passion for creating expressive and textured work. Helen’s art is rooted in landscapes, where she explores the natural world through emotion, texture and depth. While landscapes are Helen’s foundation, she enjoys pushing creative boundaries and experimenting with a variety of subjects and styles.
Using primarily her fingers and palette knife, she embraces a hands-on, intuitive approach that allows each piece to develop organically. Texture plays a central role in my work, adding a tactile quality that brings each painting to life and invites the viewer to connect with it on a deeper level.
Through her art, Helen aims to capture not just what a scene looks like, but how it feels—creating pieces that are both visually striking and emotionally engaging.
