VENUE #47 – VIEW ON MAP >>
The Ward Councillors have join forces with Pete Goldup and Calverlands centre to create a silent disco venue for the over 60s!!!
A silent disco offers a multitude of benefits that set it apart from traditional music events.
It allows for an inclusive and customisable experience, as participants can choose their preferred music channel and volume, catering to diverse tastes. Additionally, they can be held in unconventional spaces, making them versatile and adaptable for various occasions, from outdoor festivals to indoor parties.
Ultimately, the unique and immersive nature of silent discos fosters a sense of connection, and shared enjoyment, making them a truly refreshing twist on traditional discos.
Since 2009 Pete has been tearing up dance floors in clubs, bars, Universities and festivals all over the country with his unique Silent Disco DJ style. These days Pete mainly focuses on entertaining the elderly care home population of Yorkshire, especially those living with Dementia and memory loss, with his uplifting and inspiring Silent Discos.
